2018 CHAN Qualifiers: Nigeria’s Possible Foes; Togo, Benin Draw In 1st Leg FIrst Round Match

Home-based Super Eagles’ likely opponents Togo and Benin Republic played a 1-1 draw in their first leg First Round match of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers in Lome on Sunday.

Benin Republic took the lead in the 44th minute through Koukpo Marcelline before Sewonou Koidjo equalised for Togo in the 47th minute.

The reverse fixture will see Benin Republic entertain Togo on July 23 in Cotonou.

The winner between Togo and Benin Republic will face the home-based Super Eagles in the Second Round of the 2018 CHAN qualifiers.

The home-based Super Eagles will open camp on Thursday to begin preparation for the qualifiers.
