Today being the 15th day of June 2017, I finally took possession of the pencils I ordered last week Friday.
After my post last week , alot of people contacted that I should do a sequel whenever the company delivers the pencils. My contact in South Africa called in too to seek partnership with the company. This is good news for the business. I only hope Akwa Ibomites don’t sit on the fence while outsiders take over business opportunities in the state.
On the production of the wraps, I’ve been made to know that the machine that produces the wraps go for $4,500 (N1.7million approximately or less) in China. This means that an Akwa Ibomite or a group of Akwa Ibomites can as well establish a servicing company for the pencil industry which will produce the wraps. This will in turn create more jobs for our people.
On staffers, whoever did the recruitment and training did a great job. The guys are very professional and full of smiles. I kept hearing “thank you so much for patronising us” and trust me, it felt good.
The very welcoming General Manager, Mr. Bassey Moses engaged me in a brainstorming session on various issues which ended in a photograph😅😉.
Finally, the AKEES PENCILS & TOOTHPICK FACTORY is real #BuyMadeInAkwaIbom
