The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has commended Governor Umo Eno, PhD, for his visionary leadership and steadfast support that have propelled the party’s ongoing membership e-registration exercise across the state.
In a press release issued by the party chairman, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, the APC described Governor Eno’s commitment as pivotal to the successes recorded so far, noting that his reforms under the ARISE Agenda have continued to strengthen party structures and participation at the grassroots.
The party also applauded the Senate President, Chief Godswill Obot Akpabio, GCON, for his guidance, encouragement, and unwavering dedication to the growth and consolidation of the APC in Akwa Ibom State.
Further appreciation was extended to Local Government Chairmen, elected and appointed officials, Chapter Chairmen, members of the E-Registration Committee, and party faithful for their tireless mobilisation and coordination efforts across the state.
As part of efforts to assess progress and intensify mobilisation, the APC announced a statewide party meeting scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2026, at 12:00 noon, to be held simultaneously at all 329 ward offices in Akwa Ibom State. The meeting will review the e-registration exercise and outline strategies for improved participation.
The party called on all members to return to their wards and local government areas for the exercise and urged sustained unity and support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR; Senate President Godswill Akpabio, GCON; and Governor Umo Eno, PhD, as the APC continues to build a stronger and more progressive Akwa Ibom State.
