Akwa Ibom’s political landscape witnessed a historic shift as Barrister Emmanuel Enoidem, SAN, formally joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). The grand reception at Etim Ekpo Township Stadium drew thousands of supporters, party faithful, and top leaders, including Governor Umo Eno and Senate President Godswill Akpabio.

Governor Eno hailed Enoidem’s move as a courageous step toward unity and progress, noting that his administration has already executed 25 projects in Etim Ekpo within two years. With Enoidem’s entry, he expressed confidence in accelerated development across the state.

Senate President Akpabio described the occasion as a reunion with his political mentee, emphasizing that Enoidem’s decision signals peace and the end of opposition politics in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District.
The induction ceremony, led by APC State Chairman Stephen Ntukekpo, also welcomed Enoidem’s wife and thousands of supporters into the party. Enoidem himself called the decision “historic,” stressing his love for Etim Ekpo and commitment to Akwa Ibom’s progress.
With goodwill messages from political heavyweights and the presence of dignitaries across government, the event underscored a new era of collaboration, unity, and hope for Akwa Ibom State.
