Akwa Ibom State witnessed a heartwarming moment of compassion and support today as Governor Umo Eno announced a life-changing package for popular visually impaired gospel singer, Chris Vic.
In a directive issued immediately, the Governor ordered the Commissioner for Lands to allocate a plot of land in Uyo to Chris Vic within one week. He further revealed that he will personally sign the Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) once the process is completed.
But the support didn’t stop there.
Governor Eno also announced plans to build a fully furnished 4 bedroom home for Chris Vic, complete with a state of the art music studio valued at 100 million to help grow his music career and ministry.
As an additional show of care, the Governor pledged a ₦1 million monthly allowance for Chris Vic, which will continue throughout his tenure in office.
This unprecedented gesture has been widely praised as a powerful example of leadership with a human touch one that uplifts talent, supports the vulnerable, and reflects the values of compassion and service.
