A socio-political group by name Iman Ibom Liberation movement was inaugurated today in Etinan Local Government Area.
The event started with a courtesy call by the group’s Board of Trustees to the Palace of the paramount ruler of Etinan Edidem Ime Dickson Umoette. The royal father who welcomed the group with open arms thanked God and advised the group to put God first in their deeds as anything done without God does not stand. Edidem Umoette who acknowledged the fact that Iman Ibom have challenges advised that a tree cannot make a forest and which is the more reason Iman Ibom people should unite.
The Protem Board of Trustee Chairman of Iman Ibom Liberation Movement Akparawa Nse Ubeh thanked Edidem Umoette for his blessings and spoke on the need for togetherness among Iman Ibom people.
High point of the event was at the Federated Town Hall in Etinan which witnessed the turnout of Iman Ibom Youths, women and political stakeholders from Etinan. Present in the occasion was Archbishop Idem Ikon (General Overseer of Revival Valley Ministries) who lend spiritual advise and prayed for sustenance and guidance of the group, Dr. Okon Ema, Barr .Andem Ndem (SA to Governor on Legal Matters & Documentation), Mr. Udeme Udofia (SA to Governor on Education Monitoring), Deacon Udoh Ekwere (P.A to Governor UDOM Emmanuel on Transport), Mr. Uko Umoh (SA to Governor on Local Media) Hon. John Pius, Mr. Utin Y. Utin, Mr. Ini Nkan among others.

Mr. Utin Utin – Deputy Coordinator (South)
Mr. Gabriel Akpan – Political Adviser and
Hon. Ini Udoekwere – General Secretary
The protem coordinator in his inaugural speech pledged to work to move Iman Ibom forward and to return Governor UDOM Emmanuel reelected in 2019 as well as ensure that the dividends of democracy is felt by Iman Ibom People.
The event ended with a vote of thanks delivered by one of the members of the board of trustees of the group Deacon Udoh Ekwere.
