… AS VOICE OF INI YOUTH BEG VICTOR UDOFIA TO CONTEST FEDERAL HOUSE

The member representing Ikono state Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Victor Udofia has urged the youths of his area to support the Governor Udom Emmanuel led administration to succeed.
Udofia said this when youths under the aegis of Voice of Ini Youth and Ediene Youth Forum paid him a courtesy visit in his office recently.
“I appeal to the youths of Ini and Ikono to support the administration of Governor Udom Emmanuel, because the governor is sincere about his industrialisation agenda and infrastructural policies” Udofia said.
The lawmaker also solicited for more support for the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Akpabio while calling on the youths to support him(Akpabio) which he said has represented effectively and should be given a second term to represent the senatorial district.
Speaking on behalf of the Voice of Ini Youth, the President, Mr Saturday Udobang said they were in Assembly to identify with Rt. Hon Victor Udofia because of his good works with Ikono and Ini Local Government Areas.
He said the construction of Mbiabong Ikot Udo Road, Nkari Road in Ini Local Government Area through the instrumentality of Rt. Hon Victor Udofia is unprecedented development achievement which has necessitated the call for Rt. Hon.Victor Udofia to representing Ini /Ikono in the House of Representatives in 2019.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Ediene Youth Forum of Ikono Local Government, Mr Mfon Utuk said they group identifies with Rt. Hon .Udofia because he is transparent, purposeful and accountable in his representation.
Utuk applauded the lawmaker for the construction of roads, renovation of primary schools, women empowerment in Ikono. The group also pledged their total support to the lawmaker and urged him to consider representing them in the National Assembly from 2019.
High point of the event was the empowerment of five (5) people with cash gift, Hon Sampson Okorie was empowered with six hundred thousand naira (600,000), Late Hon Ukpem’s family and Hon Okon Okon got four hundred thousand naira (400, 000) each, while Hon Anthony Tom was given one hundred thousand naira (100,000) and many others
