On January 26, 2026, the State Coordinator of the Voice of the Youth Support Group, Akparawa Otobong Akan, returned to his alma mater Christ the King Model Primary School, Uyo with a heartfelt gift. He distributed exercise books to pupils, encouraging them to stay disciplined, focused, and committed to their studies.

In alignment with the ARISE Agenda of His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, Ph.D., and in our capacity as the Voice of the Youth, the visit was a strategic effort to demonstrate commitment to strengthening the education sector and providing modest but impactful support to learning at the grassroots.
For Mr. Akan, it was more than charity it was a personal journey of gratitude and a pledge to invest in young minds.
Teachers and school administrators expressed profound appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely and impactful. They commended Akparawa. Otobong Akan for remembering his roots and for serving as a positive role model to the pupils.

The initiative, supported by Hon. Ubong Utang, reflects the group’s dedication to grassroots development and aligns with the ARISE Agenda’s vision of strengthening education.
Sometimes, the smallest acts like a book in a child’s hand can spark the biggest dreams.
