Top rated hospitality outfit in Nigeria, Watbridge Hotels & Suites, Uyo has scored yet, another unique feat in the hospitality industry, with the opening of a guest pharmacy among its facility and services. The popular hotel has equally floated a food value chain to ensure memorable culinary experience for guests.
Elkinson Ataha, Head of Marketing and Operations at Watbridge Hotels disclosed this to newsmen yesterday, while inspecting set-ups and facility at the hotel’s newest addition. The well-stocked pharmacy is expected to provide hands-on health services to guests and other customers within and outside the hotel community.
Commenting on the pharmacy, Ataha said that ‘health is hospitality’, noting that the facility was yet another value addition by the hotel to further safeguard the health and wellbeing of its teeming guests.
Ataha notified that Watbridge Hotels was also floating its food value chain to further improve the culinary experience of guests. The upgraded food value chain will incorporate more diverse meals on the menu to satisfy the hotel’s ever-growing multicultural guests demography.
Watbridge Hotels gets most of its fresh, organic food from the Watbridge Farms, located in Uruan Local Government Area, within the metropolis. The hotel equally runs a cold room warehouse, which was opened last year by Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno.
It is worthy to note that Watbridge Hotels has enjoyed excellent reputation for its unique hospitality innovations. In addition to the pharmacy, the hotel also has a guest library named after Ngugi wa Thiong’o, the notable, world renowned writer.
