The Ewet Luxury Garden Estate in Uyo, comprising 35 premium duplex units, is set to be ready for occupation soon, according to Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno.
The Governor gave this update on Friday, April 24, 2026, shortly after hosting a special birthday breakfast at the estate’s newly completed Experience Centre.
He expressed satisfaction with the quality of work delivered, noting that he had specifically requested the contractor to complete the Experience Centre in time for his birthday a target that was successfully met.
Governor Eno explained that the estate, designed with the middle class in mind, features 35 modern and comfortable duplex apartments equipped with standard solar power systems. He added that the homes are expected to be handed over to buyers within the next two months.
Speaking on the development, he said the Experience Centre is now ready for business operations, with full staffing expected within a week. He also confirmed that sales agreements for the properties will soon be finalized.
Providing further insight into the project, the Managing Director of Messrs Western Legacy Investment Ltd, Mr. Kunle Adelipa, assured that the company is working to meet a 60-day completion deadline as directed. He reaffirmed the firm’s commitment to delivering the project on schedule.
Adelipa described the Ewet Luxury Gardens as a government-backed residential development consisting of thirty-five fully detached five bedroom duplexes. The project is part of efforts to redevelop the former timber market site along Uruan Street in Uyo.
He commended the Governor for his vision and pledged timely delivery of the estate.
