See names Sent to AKHA for confirmation as Commissioners, Special Adviser

Governor Udom Emmanuel has forwarded the names of 5 nominess to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation into the office of Commissioners and Special Adviser.

The nominees include, Rt. Hon Uno Etim Uno,(Urueofong Oruko), Barr Prince Ukpong Udo Akpabio,(Essien Udim) Mr. Udo Ekpenyong,(Ukanafun) Otuekong Raphael Bassey, (Nsit Atai) and Pastor Sunny Ibuot (Ikot Ekpene). The Governor’s message was read on Thursday during an emergency sitting of the House.
Receiving the message, Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Barr. Onofiok Luke, directed the House Committee on Justice, Judiciary, Human Rights and Public Petitions to screen the nominees and report back to the Assembly in the next 72 hours.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of the House Committee on Justice, Judiciary and Public Petitions, Barr. Aniefiok Dennis has invited the nominees to appear before the committee today at the Assembly complex by 4pm for screening.
