ABAK-FIVE YOUTHS HOSTS GOV EMMANUEL, WIFE IN MEGA RALLY, MARCH 23

Youths of old Abak division who form majority of voters have concluded plans to host the Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Mr. Udom Gabriel Emmanuel and Wife, Deaconess Martha Emmanuel in a mega rally.
The event scheduled for Friday, March 23 at Abak Township Stadium, will see a mass movement of youths from the five local government areas of Abak, Etim Ekpo, Ika, Oruk Anam and Ukanafun.

A statement signed by the Chairman of the planning committee, Chief Ekpuk Eshiet said, “It will be the first reception organized for our son-Inlaw and our daughter since he was sworn in as the Governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2015.”
The rally which is expected to have in attendance very respectable sons and daughters of the five local government areas of Abak Division will be chaired by the National Legal Adviser of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem while the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, CON and the State House of Assembly Leader, Sir Udo Kierian Akpan are expected as Special Guest of Honour and Guest of Honour respectively.
The Deputy Governor, Mr. Moses Frank Ekpo; MFR will be the Chief Host while the Executive Chairmen of Abak, Ika, Etim Ekpo, Oruk Anam and Ukanafun would serve as host, among other dignitaries.
The statement further indicates that the high point of the rally will be the formal Reception and endorsement of Governor Udom Emmanuel for a second term ahead of the 2019 elections.

The rally, it maintained, “would afford the youths of Abak Five, an opportunity to appreciate and commend our In-law, Mr. Integrity, His Excellency Deacon Udom Gabriel Emmanuel for the prudent management of the state resources leading to the ongoing industrial revolution in Akwa Ibom State, and the formal reception of decamped youths from other parties into our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party.”
The committee, invites, political office holders, party faithful, leaders of thought, royal fathers, religious leaders, public servants, community based/socio-cultural organizations and indeed the general public to attend the rally.
