At any moment, an encounter with the Commissioner for Works, Akwa Ibom State, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen is not only a delight but mind-blowing.
It is not only about his rich depth of understanding and knowledge of the Ministry of Works that he is superintending but getting to know the volume of projects Governor Udom Emmanuel has accomplished and currently working on.
A peep into the intellectual disposition of the man, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-eyen and the miraculous endeavors of Governor Udom Emmanuel in the road infrastructure sector came glaringly at Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly on Thursday, August 8, 2019.
The occasion was the defense of the 2020 Budget Estimate of the Ministry of Works before the Rt. Hon. Uduak Odudoh led House Committee on Finance and Appropriation held at the Conference Room of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.

The superhighway, he said, will be key to the success of the Ibom Deep Seaport in Mbo LGA.
Soliciting the cooperation of the committee and the House of Assembly in the funding of various ongoing road projects across the State, the Works Commissioner announced that Uyo- Ikot Ekpene Highway will be delivered effective December 2019.
