MONTHLY SANITATION EXERCISE HOLDS TOMORROW
The May edition of the monthly sanitation exercise will hold tomorrow, Saturday, May 25, 2019, with restriction of human and vehicular movements across the State.
Commissioner of Information and Strategy, Sir Charles Udoh, who stated this in a statement in his office, called on all indigenes to participate in the exercise, which holds from 7a.m to 10 a.m.
Sir Udoh advised community leaders to mobilize and ensure participation by all residents, as well as ensure compliance with the restriction of movement order during the period of the exercise.
He reminded residents and those seeking to pass through the state during the period of the exercise that officials of government and Law Enforcement Agents will be on hand to monitor and ensure compliance across the state.
The Commissioner, who emphasized the necessity of maintaining a clean environment, cautioned that defaulters during the period of the exercise will be arrested and prosecuted.
