APC National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole carpeted Police Commissioner John Abang for not aiding APC members to cause instability in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly.
In a release yesterday, Mr Oshiomhole alleged that six members of the state House of Assembly lost their seats.
This allegation is however untrue as only five members of the Assembly joined APC as against the six.
The Speaker Barr. Onofiok Luke, deriving powers from relevant constitutional provisions, and a federal high court order, had declared the seats of Hon Idongesit Ituen, Nse Ntuen, Otobong Ndem, Gabriel Toby and Victor Udofia, vacant following their cross carpeting to another political party.
But the APC national chairman believes that Mr Abang should have provided cover to the sacked lawmakers to enable them stall sitting in the Akwa Ibom State legislature.
