The Governor of Akwa Ibom State Mr. Udom Emmanuel has ordered the Akwa Ibom State House Of Assembly to commence Investigation into the trending Video on Social media Involving the Chairman of Abak Local Government Hon Imoh William‘s aide Assaulting one Mr. Godwin Abraham, a decorator from Ata Otoro in Abak Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.
Mr. Godwin who claimed he worked for the Chairman in 2017, during his inauguration as a Chairman and during the 2018 Arm Forces Remembrance Day respectively without being paid was beaten up by overzealous aide of the Abak LGA Chairman.

The Governor made this known in a tweet saying ‘I roundly condemn the assault that took place at Abak LGA, currently circulating on the social media. Such actions are unacceptable in a civilized society and does not represent our core values. I have advised the A/Ibom State House of Assembly to commence full investigations’
