The Akwa Ibom State government has directed the construction giants; NigerPet Structures Limited to immediately mobilize to the site and affect the repairs of the collapsed section of Ikot Akpaden – Okoroete road in Eastern Obolo Local Government Area.
According to the release issued by the Chief of Staff to the Governor and Honourable Commissioner for Works; Mr. Ephraim Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-Eyen, the State government, feels the pulse of the residents and other road users and thus, solicited their cooperation during the duration of the repairs work.
While enjoining them to give necessary support to the contractors, the State Government promised to make the road better for use in the shortest possible time.
