Traders in Akwa Ibom State have resolved that Governor Udom Emmanuel remains the most traders friendly Governor in the country.
They said the Governor has fulfilled his part of the bargain with them and as such deserves their support for another team in office.
This was the general position by the different leaders of traders’ association during a rally at the Etak Itam Market at the launching of the second phase of the interest free loan scheme, a revolving loan policy of Governor Emmanuel to enable traders and cooperative organizations in the state to expand their businesses.
This phase of the loan scheme involved 5000 beneficiaries with a total of N300M floated by the state government.
