The Deputy Speaker of Akwa Ibom State, Rt Hon. Felicia Bassey has poured encomiums on the Ini Ememobong over what she described as the foundation’s strategic interventions in important areas of community development.
The Deputy Speaker handed down the commendation today when she inaugurated the water project constructed and donated by the Ini Ememobong Foundation to Oko Ita community in honour of the Councillor representing Ibiono Ibom Ward 10, Hon. Mmandu Eduese.
Rt. Hon. Felicia Bassey said interventions like a water project can significantly elevate the living conditions of people, especially those living in the rural communities.
The Chairman of Ini Ememobong foundation and Publicity Secretary of the PDP in Akwa Ibom state, Comrade Ini Ememobong said the foundation had donated the water project to the community in honour of Hon. Eduese as part of the foundation’s committment to the promotion of the ideals of good governance, effective representation and community development.
