Obong Udo Ekpenyong, newly elected state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Akwa Ibom State Chapter
The State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Udo Ekpenyong has notified of the intention of the Party to reschedule the screening exercise for aspirants on the platform of our Party earlier slated to commence on Thursday, August 13, 2020, to a new date.
The Screening Exercise is now scheduled to commence on Friday, August 14, 2020 and will be conducted on a Senatorial District arrangement at the PDP State Secretariat, Atan Offot, Uyo.
The schedule is as follows:
EKET SENATORIAL DISTRICT (For Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants)
Date: Friday, August, 14, 2020
Time: 10am – 2pm
UYO SENATORIAL DISTRICT (For Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants)
Date: Friday, August, 14, 2020
Time: 2pm – 10pm
IKOT EKPENE SENATORIAL DISTRICT (For Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants)
Date: Saturday, August 15, 2020
Time: 10am – 2pm.
The Appeal Panel will sit on Monday, August 17, 2020, from 10am 5pm at the Party Secretariat Complex at Atan Offot, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
All aspirants must appear for the screening with Original copies of the following documents:
All academic credentials
Current Tax Clearance Certificate
Evidence of Party Membership
Permanent Voters Card (PVC)
Original receipt of payment for Nomination Forms
Take notice that in order to adhere to the subsisting safety precautions against the COVID-19 Pandemic, only Chairmanship and Councillorship aspirants billed for screening will be allowed access to the venue.
Members of the screening panel and aspirants are expected to properly adorn themselves with face masks before entering the venue.
