The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has announced the extension of the 50% reduction in the registration fee for Business Names for 3 more days with effect from 13th August 2019. The new date will now end on Friday, 16th August 2019.
The decision to extend the deadline is because of the Sallah public holidays. The 3 days extension is to enable Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) that could not register their business due to the Sallah holidays to so register.
The benefits of registering your business name with CAC cannot be overemphasized. With a registered business name, you can own corporate accounts with Banks, have access to loans, grants and other government intervention programmes for SMEs.
