… audition for dancers and actors hold Tuesday & Wednesday respectively

The much publicised Akwa Ibom Talent Showcase began on Monday, October 30 in Uyo, hundreds of music talents from across the state turned up at the Eemjmm Hotel audition venue, to stake their claim to fame and stardom.

The convener, Nollywood star and Special Assistant to Governor Udom Emmanuel on Tourism, Ini Edo was all smiles with the bunch of talents on display, an outing which gave the judges (Dehniece, L’edima and Tusi) a tough time to choose the 10 that will make it to the finals in the music category.

Akwa Ibom Talent Showcase is a talent discovery and promotion initiative of the Governor Udom Emmanuel led adminstration, to complement his investments in talents in the creative industry.

Audition for dancers hold Tuesday, October 30, while that of drama artistes will take place on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at same venue.

30 Finalists will stage an awesome performance at the Grand Finale scheduled for December 9, 2018.
