A controversial online influencer Mr. Emmanuel Eneyo from Oro Nation, a tribe in Akwa Ibom State has taken to social media to publicly announce his withdrawal from being a member of ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS APC, Akwa Ibom State.
Mr. Eneyo who is a graduate of Mass Communication from the prestigious Akwa Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikot Osurua as this to say.
The 2019 general election particularly in Akwa Ibom State was quite a keen contest with great minds and potentials at the poll, I offered my support to the candidacy of Obong Nsima Ekere and my boss Rt. Hon. Victor Antai of the All Progressive Congress (APC)
During the course of the election, I was resolute while deploying pragmatic strategic measures to project my candidates and ensure they emerged victorious at the poll. I walk with my head held high for that action and no regrets.
I have watched the election produced outcome I might not have hoped for, I still don’t regret.
With satisfaction I’m proud I stood for a cause and although things didn’t turn out the way I hoped it would, my conscience is justified and satisfied that I supported my boss Hon. Victor Antai to the very end.
My support for Rt. Hon. Victor Antai was for the love of Mbo, Oro nation and brotherhood and not induced by money.
The election had long been over, come the battle at the place of hope for a common man(tribunal) I have carefully for the past weeks thought and I have resolve,
- I withdraw my support for the All progressive congress (APC) Akwa Ibom state chapter.
- From henceforth, I will join hands with my brother’s and sister’s in People’s Democratic Party ( PDP) to ensure the government of our amiable Governor, Deacon. Udom Emmanuel succeed for the betterment of Akwa Ibom people.
To every toe’s I may have stepped on during the course of projecting my preferred candidates, I tender my hearty and sincere apology and plead to be pardoned.
I sincerely apologise to my friends, brothers and sisters in APC who may feel disappointed by my wise and youthful decision.
God bless Akwa Ibom State!
God bless Gov. Udom Emmanuel!
