Houses, electric poles , high tension cables and power substations in their numbers have been grounded and in a state of total disrepair as yet another disaster struck in Ibeno local government area.
An eye witness report has it that, about 4am on the first day of the month of March, a hurricane disaster struck, brought down roofs of many buildings while several other houses were totally grounded, electric poles, high tension cables and power substations were also destroyed, the tragic incident marks the genesis of the month of March in Upenekang, Mkpanak and Iwuo Achang communities in Ibeno LGA.
Indigenes and dwellers of the affected areas however lamented the huge lost caused by the disaster and solicit help for government , companies and public spirited individuals to help them get back up again.
